Naked chefs pose for charity calendar

A group of south-coast chefs have stripped off in aid of industry charity Hospitality Action (HA).

The hardy 12 swapped their chef whites for birthday suits to star in the charity calendar and raise funds for HA.

Featuring recipes from the chefs themselves, the 2007 calendar will go on sale at the 50th Bournemouth Hotel and Catering Exhibition, which runs from 7 - 8 March 2006.

Chef Ian Hewitt from Bistro on the Beach in Bournemouth posed with just a life ring and a bunch of asparagus to keep his dignity.

He said: “My colleagues think I’m mad, but I thought that this was quite an unusual and fun way to help a good cause.”

Hewitt and company will be at the Hospitality Action stand – fully clothed – to sign calendars during the event.
