Evening Standard critic Fay Maschler is not convinced by Tom Aikens’s Tom’s Place.
The famously acidic critic accuses the presentation of the nation’s favourite fast food – fish and chips – there as being rendered in a leaden, patronising and self consciously fashionable way in her latest review.
Bloomberg’s Richard Vines finds L’Oranger potentially one of London’s most expensive restaurants but the food worthy of the Michelin star it lost a few years back.
