Compass appoints Greg Mace managing director of client services

Compass Group has appointed Greg Mace managing director of client services.

Mace will join the business from Portico, the front-of-house management services provider of BaxterStorey parent company Westbury Street Holdings, where he was managing director for the past six years.

With 20 years' experience of international hospitality at Hilton International, London's Dorchester and Connaught hotels, Mace's knowledge of five-star service standards is expected to add value to Compass Group's client services offer across its B&I portfolio.

He will lead all customer and client-facing business services and report to Jason Leek, Compass managing director of business & industry.

Leek said the business goal is to build its client base while adding more first class services for current clients.

"This new appointment demonstrates how seriously we are taking our growth in support services and we are delighted to welcome Greg on board," he added. "I am confident his appointment will be a huge success and he will be a great addition to our team."
