Elior has won a five-year £7.5m total turnover contract to feed fans at London’s Queens Park Rangers (QPR) football club.
The caterer’s Azure division will run 20 kiosks and four restaurants at QPR’s Loftus Road Stadium, as well as providing hospitality services and sales and marketing for the ground’s conferencing facilities on non-match days.
Elior chef Rory Thompson will over see the catering at the Championship club, which gets an average gate for matches of 14,000, with Louise Herridge heading sales.
Ali Russell, deputy managing director at QPR, said: “We are confident that Azure will deliver great food and hospitality services to our fans – from fast food on the stands to fine cuisine in our hospitality areas.”
Azure managing director Adam Elliott hailed the contract win as important as the division looks to build its business in the south-east and at stadiums.
