Cotswold House unveils new management team

The Cotswold House hotel & spa in Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire has unveiled its new management team, as it targets affluent customers from London, the South East and overseas.

General manager Duncan Fraser, 30, worked in a senior position at Inverlochy Castle, which boasted four red stars, three rosettes and a Michelin star, as well as at Gordon Ramsay's Amaryllis restaurant in Glasgow. Fraser will be responsible for the hotel as well as its sister property the Noel Arms.

Meanwhile, the new hotel manager at the Noel Arms is Justin Pinchbeck, 28, who is promoted from deputy manager at Cotswold House. Pinchbeck is the son of a family of established hoteliers and went straight into the hospitality industry after university, running a hotel in Herefordshire, despite taking a degree in biological chemistry.

The pair are joined by executive chef Damian Clisby, whose appointment was announced late last year. The newly created position will see Clisby take over the management of the food and beverage offering in both hotels including Juliana's, Hicks' Brasserie and the brasserie, bar and coffee shop at the Noel Arms.

Clisby was previously executive chef at the 77-bedroom FJB Haven hotel in Sandbanks near Poole, Dorset, where he ran a brigade of 16 chefs and maintained the property's two AA rosettes.

Prior to that, he was head chef with Caprice Holdings' Rivington Grill restaurants in Shoreditch and Greenwich and head chef of Langar Hall Country House hotel in Nottinghamshire.
