Hotelier of the Year 2006 - deadline nears

The deadline for entries to Hotelier of the Year 2006 is drawing near and hotel owners are urged not to miss out on the chance of winning this prestigious accolade.

Last year’s winner was John Stauss of the Four Seasons, London and he described being named Hotelier of the Year as “overwhelming”. The title has led to Stauss increasingly being approached for comment as an industry expert and has resulted in a raised awareness of the hotel within the marketplace.

Other past winners have included Patrick Elsmie of Gleneagles, Auchterarder (2004), Robin Hutson, then at Hotel du Vin (2003), and Gordon Campbell Gray of One Aldwych, London (2002).

Judges of the 2006 Hotelier of the Year will be looking for hoteliers that demonstrate an attention to detail, a willingness to impart knowledge to staff, have an exemplary business track record, a personal touch with guests and are totally dedicated to the industry.
