CE-marked eco-tumblers from Biopac

CE-marked eco-tumblers from Biopac

Not only are the new Kindtoo plastic tumblers from Biopac fully compostable, they are also claimed to be the first disposable tumblers in the UK to carry the CE mark.

This means bartenders do not have to use measured beer pumps, as they do with tumblers that are not CE-marked. Their green credentials spring from their construction from polylactic acid (PLA), derived from corn starch, in place of the usual petrochemicals.

The half-pint BPLC-4012 is sold in cartons of 2,100, while the one-pint BPLC-4013 version is packed 960 to the carton. Both can be branded using natural inks on orders of 100,000 or more.

They form part of Biopac's range of biodegradable trays, films, fruit and vegetable bags and cutlery.

To buy it, call Biopac 01886 880889 www.biopac.co.uk
