London restaurant Arbutus has added yet another accolade to its burgeoning collection with the best new restaurant title at the Rémy Martin Restaurant Awards 2007.
The Soho eatery by Anthony Demetre and Will Smith, which launched in May, has already attracted plenty of attention for its high-quality locally-sourced food and keen prices.
Arbutus has already been named best newcomer in the latest edition of the Which? Good Food Guide and Time Out’s best new London restaurant as well as Square Meal’s best new restaurant.
It has also been a hit with the country’s food critics receiving rave reviews from the likes of AA Gill at the Sunday Times and Terry Durack at the Independent.
The restaurant awards, held yesterday, are based on reports submitted to Harden’s UK Restaurants 2007 guide by members of the public.
