EasyHotel to open in Budapest next spring

The EasyHotel empire is to expand into Hungary, with a 57-room property due to open in Budapest next spring, the company said today.

At a press conference in Budapest this morning, EasyGroup chairman Stelios Haji-Ioannou revealed that rooms would be available from €29 (£19.6) per night.

The hotel, centrally located at Eötvös utca 25/a (VI district, Budapest), will follow the company’s model of small rooms at low prices without food or beverage services.

There are three EasyHotel sites in London, one in Basel, Switzerland and a master franchise agreement has been signed for the construction of 38 EasyHotels in India, the Middle East and North Africa over the next five years.
