Hotels

The four-star, 416-bedroom Royal Lancaster hotel in London has appointed Andrew Batchelor resident manager. Andrew has worked at the hotel for 14 years and was formerly director of conference and banqueting. Taking over Andrew's position is Craig Robertson. He was previously the hotel's executive manager for conference and banqueting. Seth Lewis has also joined the hotel as F&B services and development manager. He was previously catering project manager at train company First Great Western.

The Inter-Continental May Fair London, which has a five-star rating and 289 bedrooms, has welcomed three new recruits.

joins as general manager. She was previously hotel manager at the company's Hyde Park hotel, the Inter-Continental Hotel London. Harmut Fink has taken on the role of regional revenue manager for London. Harmut was previously working in the same position for the Paris Inter-Continental hotels. Costas Tsilogiannis is the third new starter, joining as sales manager. His last position was business development manager for the Grange Hotel Group.

Jean-Louis Jegard has moved to the three-star, 70-bedroom Stansted Manor Hotel in Birchanger, Essex, as general manager. Jean-Louis was formerly general manager at Stocks Hotel Golf and Country Club in Aldbury, Hertfordshire. Also at the hotel, Dino Di Reibero has taken on the role of F&B manager, after working there as restaurant manager.

Carl Littlewood has been appointed general manager at the 60-bedroom Village Hotel & Leisure Club, Swindon, which is part of the De Vere group. Carl's former position was deputy general manager at the Village Hotel & Leisure Club, Dudley.

Moat House Hotels has welcomed Joanna Ford as its new leisure product manager. Joanna formerly worked at Anglia Railways as local services product manager.

David Evans joins P&O Cruises as head waiter. Before his appointment, he worked for five years as F&B manager for Carnival Cruise Lines.

Industry charity Hospitality Action has appointed Jim Stephenson chief executive. Jim joins Hospitality Action having recently retired from his position as vice president in operations for the north of the UK at Six Continents Hotels.
