Springboard’s FutureChef 2006 finalists have been announced.
Seven girls and five boys will compete in the grand final on 10 March at London’s Westminster Kingsway College for the title.
The winner will work with Compass Group; enjoy a family break at Centre Parcs; receive a cheque for £500 from City & Guilds; a free subscription to Caterer and Hotelkeeper and a commemorative plate from Steelite International.
And their school will benefit from a visit by a group of chefs and question and answer session with FutureChef chairman Brian Turner.
The regional finalists are: Jake Hannaford, Amy Evans, Joshua Martin-Randerson, Jade Barker, Victoria Smout, Lea-Anne Smith, Samantha Rowles, Claire Brown, Michael Duff, Jayne Weir and Richard Stuart.
