Exeter’s contemporary city-centre eaterie Zest has reopened under new ownership as an Indian restaurant.

The purchaser, local restaurateur Atiquer Rahman, has converted the venue into the 28-seat Real India restaurateur.

The restaurant is a lock-up unit in a mixed-use block in South Street, within walking distance of the town’s commercial centre.

Stonesmith of Exeter sold the leasehold, which is held by Exeter City Council, off a guide price of £65,000 on behalf of Alec and Nicola Bourne.
