Lancaster London hotel to launch ‘Senses Room'
Lancaster London has announced plans to launch a Senses Room, a new concept that will give guests a complete preview of their business banquet, wedding, party, lunch or dinner at the hotel.
The aim of the Senses Room, which launches next month, is to go beyond providing a tasting menu and replicate every detail of a guest's specification, from the colour scheme and decor, to the lighting and music.
The full sensory trial, including tasting menu, is designed to give guests a comprehensive preview of their event. It can accommodate up to 10 people at a time and is complimentary for clients who have booked an event at Lancaster London.
The 416-bedroom hotel said it implemented the innovative concept because people were influenced by more factors than just their sense of taste when dining.
The Senses Room has been created as part of the major £11.5m refurbishment of the property's banqueting spaces, the Westbourne and Nine Kings Suite, which can accommodate up to 3,000 people.
