The Department for Culture Media and Sport (DCMS) is assembling a panel of industry and local government representatives to study the effect of last autumn's surprise hike in alcohol licence fees.
The panel will be chaired independently and is expected to produce a report later this year as part of the fee consultation process.
The Tourism Alliance (TA) will represent the hospitality industry and will present a series of case studies to the panel. The TA is particularly keen to hear from small businesses such as guesthouses and caravan parks. E-mail Kurt.Janson@cbi.org.uk with your information.
