Leisure and event caterer Sodexo Prestige has become the first catering company to sign up to the 2012 UK Events Industry Fair Pricing & Practice Charter.
The charter was created by the London Development Group as part of plans to create business value around the 2012 London Olympic Games.
The addition of Sodexo Prestige makes venues such as HMS Belfast, the Cabinet War Rooms and Southwark Cathedral available to Olympic event planners.
David Sharpe, Catey-winning managing director of the London Eye and head of the 2012 development group, said: “We’re delighted to have the collective support of Sodexo Prestige and its venues.
“Their involvement highlights the importance of fair pricing and practice in the lead up to and during the games.”
The caterer, which is headed by managing director Chris John, has also signed up as a partner of marketing body Visit London.
