Entries for next year's Queen's Award for Enterprise must be in by 31 October. The award, which is seen as one of the UK's most prestigious business accolades, was won by the Aberdeen-based off shore catering and hotel company Trinity International Services in 2003.
Since then the firm has more than doubled its earnings from 10.1m in 2002-03 to 24m in 2005 and won a second Queen's Award for Enterprise for overseas trade last year.
Stuart MacBride, Trinity's chairman and chief executive, said: "Winning a second Queen's Award shows that small and medium-sized companies in Britain - and particularly in Scotland - can compete successfully and profitably in the global marketplace."
The Queen's Awards are in three categories - international trade, innovation and sustainable development. For more information visit www.queensawards.org.uk.
