Mark Hix to run restaurant at new Belgraves hotel

Mark Hix is to operate the restaurant at the new luxury boutique hotel Belgraves, which is set to open in London in December.

The 80-seat restaurant will be Hix's sixth restaurant and his second restaurant in a hotel. He already oversees Hix at the Albemarle in Brown's hotel, a Rocco Forte property.

Belgraves is being developed by US-based Thompson Hotels, which last month announced its merger with Joie de Vivre Hospitality to become JT Hospitality. It is situated on the site of the former Sheraton Belgravia, which closed in 2009.
