Operations chief Charles Morgan leaves Hotel du Vin

Thursday 15 December 2005 12:37

Hotel du Vin's operations director Charles Morgan has left the company, Caterer can exclusively reveal.

Morgan, who left the hotel group in September, said: "It was a mutual agreement to part company."

He is now consulting on food and beverage operations at the Royal Lancaster hotel in London, but is also working on a new hotel project due to start in the New Year. "It's a very exciting project, but currently at a delicate stage of negotiations," he said.

Robert Cook, chief executive of Hotel du Vin and Malmaison hotels, said: "He was a great ambassador for Hotel du Vin, but we agreed it was best for him and the company to do something different."
