Montpellier Chapter in Cheltenham appoints Tom Rains and James Partridge

Chapter Hotels has announced two new appointments at the Montpellier Chapter in Cheltenham. Tom Rains joins as head chef at the Restaurant while James Partridge has been named as the hotel's new general manager. Rains, who has previously worked at a number of London establishments including L'Escargot, Claridge's and the Berkeley, will manage the kitchen service at the Restaurant under the guidance of consultant chef Simon Hopkinson. Partridge's most recent role was as general manager of Gordon Ramsay Holding's York & Albany hotel and restaurant in London. Prior to that he spent 15 years with the Maybourne Hotel Group - formerly The Savoy Group.
