Booker butchery course graduation

Product Butchery Training.

What is it? The Butchery Apprenticeship Programme gives individuals an opportunity to learn new skills, gain knowledge and practical experience over a period of a year. On completion of the programme, team members are awarded with an accredited certificate from the University of West London to recognise their achievement. Further development can potentially progress them to butchery managers.

Who? Booker, one of the largest catering butchers in the UK has trained over 90 employees. A decision was made to create their own accredited programme due to the shortage of butchers in the trade.

Why? This is a unique service for caterers and can help customers create menus and ensure they are maximising their profits.
