The Top House pub at The Lizard in South West Cornwall has been sold to Claire Julier and Bev Huxstep, who have moved from Cambridgeshire to run the property.
Sited in the centre of the UK’s most southerly community, the Top House was originally built as a farmhouse in the 17th century.
It has been a licensed pub for nearly 200 years and has been run by the Greenslade family for the past 50 years.
The property offers a character bar, separate dining areas with seating for 75 people, and two-bedroom owners’ accommodation.
Miller Commercial in Truro sold the leasehold on the property off a guide price of £245,000.
