London sushi restaurant group Tsuru is to open its third outlet in the capital, with the launch of a site near St Paul's in the City next week.
Tsuru, which is co-owned by Kensuke Yamada and partner Emma Reynolds, currently operates two restaurants at Bankside and Bishopsgate and serves authentic Japanese food with a focus on sustainability.
The new 50-seat restaurant will be located on Queen Street on the site formerly occupied by a florist. Interiors will be developed by Design LSM and will resemble those of the other two Tsuru outlets.
Commenting to the third site Reynolds said: “We’re so excited about this launch. It’s a fantastic site in the heart of the City and we’ve got a real opportunity to offer local businessmen and residents a really fantastic Japanese food option.
“We run regular events which we know will appeal to our customers too – such as origami evenings or sake tastings.”
