Gordon Ramsay is to open his first pub, the Narrow in London’s Limehouse, at the end of the month.

Located in a Grade II-listed building on the Thames, the pub will be spread across two floors including a bar and 32-cover restaurant on the ground floor and a private dining room on the first.

Gordon Ramsay Holdings has collaborated with the Campaign for Real Ale (Camra) to put together the pub’s beer selection which will include a range of local small production bottled beers as well as selected draught bitters and overseas beers.

The food at the Narrow will be based on classic British dishes with a focus on seasonal ingredients under head chef John Collin.

The menu includes London Particular, a pea and ham soup, as well as braised Gloucestershire pig cheeks with bashed neeps, and baked rice pudding, at an average of £25 for three courses excluding drinks.

The Narrow is Gordon Ramsay Holding’s first London pub with another planned to open later on in the year. It will open its doors on 26 March.

Gordon Ramsay last year bought the Warrington Hotel in London’s Maida Vale for £5.2m under his plans to launch a chain of gastropubs in the capital.
