Beach Blanket Babylon plans second venue

The team behind London’s Notting Hill bar Beach Blanket Babylon (BBB) plan to open a second venue, BBB Shoreditch in east London, this September.

Housed in a former warehouse, the new outlet will include a restaurant and cocktail bar, roof terrace, art gallery, private members’ lounge and outdoor cinema.

The restaurant, which will be located in the basement of the four-floor property, will be a 150-cover brasserie overseen by executive chefs Rex Newmark and Sophie Wright.

It will also include a private dining room catering for up to 20 people.

The new opening in Shoreditch will precede further launches of BBB venues overseas including outlets in the USA and Europe.
