Wolverhampton & Dudley (W&D) has had its £13.5m cash offer for English Country Inns (ECI) declared unconditional.
ECI’s 14 pubs will now be integrated into W&D’s managed division, Pathfinder, which contains 540 pubs including the Pitcher & Piano brand.
Pathfinder’s corporate development director Colin Sadler said: “The 14 pubs are an excellent fit with our current business, and we see some great opportunities to enhance profitability through implementing our management systems.”
W&D said it would continue to seek opportunities across the UK to strengthen its managed division.
