Travel reviews website TripAdvisor has removed the slogan "reviews you can trust" from its hotel listings.
The site, which is both loved and loathed by hotel and restaurant owners, has replaced the slogan with the words "reviews from our community", according to the Telegraph.
TripAdvisor is currently being investigated by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) following thousands of complaints from hoteliers about allegedly misleading and fraudulent reviews.
A spokesperson for TripAdvisor said the removal of the slogan "reviews you can trust" was unrelated to the investigation.
