Aramark has won a five-year contract with Bicton College in Devon worth £1.5m.
The caterer was awarded the contract after it recently invested £140,000 in the college's catering services, including a restaurant, Costa Coffee outlet, licensed bar and vending provision.
Aramark will provide catering to the 275 students at the agricultural college, taking over from its in-house team. It will also provide food services for weddings and conferences hosted by Bicton.
Fiona Martin, Aramark divisional director, education, said: "We are looking forward to working closely with the team at Bicton College whose ethos is so similar to our own.
"Not only does the college share our commitment to supporting the communities in which we operate, it is also a strong advocate of using local suppliers and encouraging sustainable practices wherever possible.
The contract marks the latest win by Aramark in the agricultural sector, with existing contracts including Kingston Maurward College, Askham Bryan and Brinsbury Campus at Chichester College.
