The UK & Ireland chief executive at Compass Group has joined Travelodge chief executive Grant Hearn on the London Skills and Employment Board.Ian El-Mokadem was one of nine new members elected to the board, which is chaired by London Mayor Boris Johnson.
The board is spearheading the delivery of the London Skills and Employment Strategy, launched in July, which aims to cut the red-tape around access to skills training.
Johnson said: “I am fully focused on ensuring London pulls through the current economic downturn. To achieve this we must ensure that London’s employers have access to the skills they need.”
