Former Pennyhill Park executive chef Andrew Turner’s new restaurant at the Langham hotel in central London will open on 27 November.

The Landau will be a 100-cover stand-alone restaurant designed by David Collins, who was also responsible for the design of the hotel’s Artesian cocktail bar, which opened in January.

It will feature a separate entrance off Regent Street as well as a private dining room seating 14 guests.

Turner will be heading up his own brigade including sous chefs Jimmy Holm and Graham Chatham and the Landau will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week.

Signature dishes will include seared scallops with Romanesque chorizo and caper and raisin sauce; carrot mousse with orange, almonds and apricot sauce; and toffee cheesecake with pineapple and coconut.

Front of house will be overseen by restaurant manager Franco Becci and head sommelier Zack Saghir, who both previously worked at London’s Savoy and Brown’s Hotel.

Langham managing director Duncan Palmer said: “The new street entrance means that The Landau and Artesian will together become much more approachable; a real destination for this part of the West End, working well together, or as separate entities.”
