Caterer and Hotelkeeper rings the changes this week.
Caterer is the hospitality industry's bible. But we were determined to make it fresher, more contemporary, easier to navigate - and even more of a must-read for hospitality professionals. So we took a long, hard look at the content and design, to ensure it works as hard for you as possible and offers maximum value.
Our readers operate in a hugely disparate industry, and therefore face a huge variety of challenges. But all of them care about making and saving money, tracking customer requirements, employing the best staff possible, achieving high quality customer care and benchmarking themselves against their competitors.
We aim to cover all the common issues facing hospitality professionals, whether they are hoteliers or chefs, restaurateurs or contract caterers. How can you market your business better and attract more customers? What changes in legislation should you be preparing for? How could you harness technology better? Are you missing a bargaining trick when negotiating with suppliers?
We'll also help you shape your thoughts on industry issues like menu transparency, the minimum wage, the tronc system and smoking in public places. And, when appropriate, we'll campaign on your behalf.
But we won't lose sight of the gloss and glamour. We'll also highlight the best in food, drink and menu innovation, and showcase current design trends.
