Move into Macedonia
Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts has signed an agreement to manage its first hotel in Macedonia. The Radisson SAS Palace hotel in Ohrid city centre is scheduled to open in March 2006. The hotel will feature 140 bedrooms, including 12 penthouse suites, two restaurants, a conference centre, and a health club and spa. Rezidor's total investment in the hotel is g25m (£16.6m)

The future's in Wuxi
Kempinski Hotels & Resorts is continuing its expansion into China with the signing of a management contract for a futuristic new-build hotel in Wuxi. The Kempinski Hotel Wuxi will be the group's fifth property in China and is scheduled to open in 2007. The hotel will have 400 bedrooms, 200 specifically designed for business travellers. All bedrooms will be in a glass tower, while the hotel's ballroom, shops, entertainment centre and restaurants will be in the tower's base podium.

Bonaventure moves on
Hotel company Wyndham International has signed an agreement to sell its Bonaventure resort in Weston, Florida, to Miami-based property developer The Ireland Companies for an undisclosed sum. Wyndham will continue to manage the property. The Ireland Companies, which originally developed the resort, plans to invest $75m (£41m) to redevelop it into 252 luxury residences, complete with a 48,000sq ft Golden Door spa, which will be Wyndham's largest spa. Work is scheduled to start in September, with completion expected in late 2005.
Campeche contract
Starwood Hotels & Resorts has signed an agreement with Mexican property company Grupo Plan to take over the management of its Hacienda Puerta Campeche hotel in Campeche on the Yucatan peninsula. The 17th-century hotel will join Starwood's Luxury Collection and will be its seventh in Mexico.
