The MDT 5N25 and 5N40 are two ice-plus-water dispensers from Scotsman. Both models have separate chutes for ice and water, and include a magic eye system which means there's no need to touch the machine. Instead, the unit dispenses either the water or ice automatically when the cup is placed under the chutes. This, the company says, makes the machine far more hygienic than other units, suitable for self-service and front-of-house environments. Both make up to 238kg of nugget ice every 24 hours, with the 5N25 able to store 12kg at any one time and the 5N40, 18kg.
