The Hare, the Michelin-starred restaurant in Lambourn, Berkshire, has been sold by Colliers Robert Barry for approximately £725,000.
The sale price is a £200,000 premium on what was achieved when the property was last sold three years ago.
Previous owners Helen Windridge and Paul Whitford bought the Hare for £525,000 on April fools day 2004 and achieved a Michelin star.
This was gained in 2006 under former Marco Pierre White chef Tristan Mason, which made the Hare alongside Stockcross’s The Vineyard one of only two west Berkshire eateries to gain kudos from Michelin.
It is now owned by John and Nicholas Kirby and Bruno Gautier, who has taken over as front of house manager.
They have been joined by head chef Tom Snell and sous chef Darren Male.
