Restaurateur brothers Sam and Eddie Hart are to open their second Barrafina Spanish tapas restaurant in London.
The move comes after the pair acquired the lease for the site of Italian restaurant Sapori at 43 Drury Lane in Covent Garden.
The brothers, whose first Barrafina is in Soho, also own Fino in Fitzrovia and British restaurant Quo Vadis in Soho.
Barrafina took an assignment of the existing 20-year lease and also paid a substantial six-figure premium to acquire the 1,587 sq ft Covent Garden restaurant which is in a Grade II listed building.
Mark Calder, head of sales at Restaurant Property, who advised Sapori, said: "There is a very strong demand from restaurateurs seeking to have a presence in Covent Garden. This particular site, close to the Theatre Royal and Aldwych Theatre, attracted a lot of interest and hence we were able to achieve a substantial premium."
The Leisure Partnership acted for Barrafina.
