Gordon Ramsay has teamed up with Comic Relief to launch a new range of sauces aimed at providing a steady stream of funds for the charity.

The Seriously Good sauces were developed in Ramsay’s kitchens over three years by the celebrity chef and his team. Mediterranean flavours provide the inspiration for the range.

All proceeds will go to Comic Relief and Ramsay has said he will not take a penny.

Ramsay said: "I've seen first hand the difference money raised through Comic Relief can make, which inspired me to get involved.

"We've created a range inspired by the Mediterranean using only top quality ingredients.

"As you know, I don't do anything by halves but don't take my word for it - just put one into your trolley and you'll be helping Comic Relief."

With at least 10p from the sale of every 350g jar going to Comic Relief, the money raised will be used to transform the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged people in the UK and around the world.

The range consists of five different sauces - Bolognese and Red Wine, Spicy Red Pepper and Spianata Sausage, Tomato, Black Olive and Mixed Herb, Cherry Tomato and Balsamic, and Wild Mushrooms and Mascarpone - intended to be served with meat, fish, vegetables or pasta.

The Seriously Good sauce range is available in most supermarkets.
