More and more popular with event caterers, conference centres, hotel groups and contract caterers with front-of-house cooking facilities, induction hobs allow fast, energy-efficient, high-temperature cooking. UK company Induced Energy has released a new range of induction hobs, starting with the 3kW model, CS3000T - a single hob which will replace its old 2.5kW and 3kW models. The company says the CS3000T is both portable and powerful and greatly reduced in price compared with previous models. Features include an extended front display, an automatic prompt for cleaning the filter, and the ability to have company logos fitted. Available with a burgundy, silver or charcoal case finish.
