The Baglioni hotel in London's Kensington has been named the World's Leading New Hotel in the World Travel Awards this week.
General manager Luca Virgilio said: "We are thrilled. It's the coronation of a year of hard work, and great recognition not only for us in London but for the Baglioni Hotels group as a whole. The award's already on our front desk. We are very proud of it."
The trade awards, announced at the launch of the World Travel Market, also named London as the World's Leading Destination and the Burj Al Arab in Dubai as the World's Leading Hotel.
