Barry McGuigan, the former World Featherweight Champion boxer, and comedian Jim Davidson have been lined up for the forthcoming series of the ITV reality show, Hell’s Kitchen, Caterer can reveal.
The show, which broadcasts in September, will see former three Michelin-starred chef Marco Pierre White train ten celebrities to cook in a commercial kitchen.
Sources close to the programme told Caterer that McGuigan and Davidson were among the first to sign up.
White refused to confirm or deny the rumours.
“I don’t know who has been chosen and I don’t much care,” he said. “When they put on their pinny they are just another person in the kitchen. They are stepping onto my stage.”
