Taunton's Castle hotel and Brazz Brasserie have appointed Marc Mac Closkey as the general manager to succeed Kevin McCarthy. Mac Closkey has worked at a number of hotel firms including Hyatt International, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. In 2000, he was a member of the opening team for the new Four Season's hotel in Dublin, while in 2007, he fitted out and launched the Lisloughrey Lodge, a boutique hotel in Cong, County Mayo.
