The five colleges through to the final of the 2010 Nestlé Toque d’Or student catering competition have been announced.
Petroc (North Devon), The College of West Anglia, University College Birmingham, Warrington Collegiate and York College won their places following regional heats where they were required to prepare a conference room menu.
Each team is now tasked with creating its own restaurant concept which it will run for a day at the BBC Good Food Show Summer at the NEC Birmingham in June 2010, serving 100 covers of its three-course menu to paying guests.
Seats at the Grand Final can be booked at www.bbcgoodfoodshowsummer.com.
