Westbury to open the Gallery brasserie

London's Westbury hotel is to launch a new all-day brasserie with the opening of the Gallery in the spring.

Set to open at the end of May, the Gallery will be located in the site formerly occupied by the Connolly shop on Conduit Street. It will be a 100-seat all-day restaurant overseen by head chef Brian Fantoni, who was previously at Cantina del Ponte.

The menu will take inspiration from the flavours of the Mediterranean with typical dishes including langoustine ravioli with fennel confit and wild garlic vinaigrette; poule au pot with asparagus, morels and tarragon nage; and tarte au citron with raspberries.

Alex Kravetz Design will oversee the refurbishment of the space, which will comprise a main dining room and a small bar area.

The announcement of the opening of the Gallery restaurant comes hot on the heels of the Westbury appointing former Marcus Wareing head chef Alyn Williams who will oversee its signature restaurant, the Artisan, which will reopen as Alyn Williams at the Westbury in September.
