La Coupe de Monde seeks pastry chefs for 2013 competition
The British team for La Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie is looking for the best pastry chefs in the country to represent the UK in January 2013.
Applicants are asked to include their CV, an explanation on what motivates them to compete with the British team, and which discipline in which they would like to demonstrate their skills. At least three photographs demonstrating applicants' abilities must also be included.
Following the application and review process each successful candidate will be asked to participate in the UK team selection trials.
They will be asked to prepare and display their strongest skills to a panel or professional pastry chefs.
Following their success at the competition last year, Benoit Blin, president of the UK pastry team, said: "We are looking forward to our next exciting challenge and appreciate the support from everyone within the food industry to help promote our message."
Applications should be emailed to benoit.blin@blanc.co.uk](mailto:benoit.blin@blanc.co.uk) and the deadline is 10 June 2011.
