February 2006 saw Caterer and Hotelkeeper’s inaugural awards ceremony for the Best Places to Work in Hospitality effectively highlight and reward employment best practice in the UK’s hospitality industry. Building employer reputation and the status as an employer of choice is becoming ever more critical. The hospitality professional is now placing as much importance on issues such as work life balance, career development, and training as they do on a good salary.
