Royal York in Brighton teams up with Pure for new F&B concept
The Royal York hotel in Brighton has teamed up with Pure Pop Up Restaurants & Events, part of hospitality management company Evensus, to launch a new F&B concept.
The partnership, which mark's Pure's first foray into hotel catering, will see the group manage the entire F&B operation at the 51-bedroom, four-star hotel, including conference and banqueting menus, room service and private dining.
It will also see the opening of the new Pop Restaurant and Bar, a 45-seat restaurant that will offer a modern European menu with a focus on local seafood.
Head chef will be Neal Brunning, who joins the operation from the nearby Courtyard. Front of house will be managed by Nicola Delmege, who previously owned the PV @ the Jury's Out in Brighton and will work alongside Evensus managing director Jerome Ibanez, who will be in charge of the overall management of the venue.
Nick Sutton, owner of the Royal York hotel, said he was delighted about the new partnership. "We are a historic hotel with a modern design that celebrates our heritage. We look forward to launching a new dimension to our hotel and an exciting new offering for Brighton," he said.
Ibanez added: "The Royal York Hotel is the perfect union of modern and heritage; of royal history and design future. With 15 years event management experience it is exciting to establish our first collaboration with a hotel."
