Story of the week: Industry figures pay tribute to Keith Floyd, the legendary chef, restaurateur, TV chef and bon viveur, who has died aged 65. 

Celebrity chef Tom Aikens has introduced a bring your own (BYO) alcohol policy at his Michelin-starred restaurant in London's Chelsea for two months.

Gordon Ramsay has teamed up with Comic Relief to launch a new range of sauces aimed at providing a steady stream of funds for the charity.

The American magnate owner of the luxury Old Course Hotel is said to be in the market to buy Hamilton Hall for an estimated £14-£15m.
