Three Hampton by Hilton hotels up for sale

Best bids are being called for on a portfolio of three Hampton by Hilton hotels, Hilton's premium economy brand.

The trio of hotels, comprising a total of 241 bedrooms, are all operated under long-term management agreements with Hilton. They are located in Braintree (76 bedrooms), Shrewsbury (75 bedrooms) and Birmingham (90 bedrooms).

Marketed by CBRE Hotels, the properties were put on the market after the owners, Osborn Securities (Hotels), went into administration.

Hampton by Hilton entered the UK market in 2008 and there are currently eight hotels operated under the brand, with a further 12 expected to open during the next 12 to 18 months.

Daniel Woodcock of CBRE Hotels said that interest in the hotels had been good with many buyers seeing great growth potential in both the assets and the Hampton by Hilton brand. "This after all is the perfect time in the property cycle for an investor to buy and these assets offer an investor the opportunity to create a great platform going forward," he explained.

The deadline for best bids for the properties, which are being offered to the market as a group, sub-group and individual assets, is Wednesday 23 November.
