Claridge’s owner Maybourne Hotel Group and coffee-bar chain Starbucks have been included in the UK’s 50 best workplaces list.
Published annually in the Financial Times and complied by The Great Place to Work Institute, the list recognises best practice to act as a benchmark for companies seeking to improve their workplace relations.
This year’s list features heavy weights such as software giant Microsoft, investment bankers Goldman Sachs International and retailer Marks & Spencer.
Maybourne Hotel Group vice-president of human resources, Sara Edwards, said: “Achieving the Great Place to Work award is a tremendous external accolade which recognises our efforts to ensure that our working environment, conditions and benefits are among the very best in the country.”
