Min Jang at the Royal Garden hotel in London’s Kensington is on the menu for Sunday Times critic AA Gill.
“The room looks smart enough”, according to Gill but the food comes in “many plates of disappointment: slight, timid, bland, tepid, underseasoned and cooked without conviction or appetite”.
Jay Rayner, from the Observer, visits Kikuchi in London as revenge against all the bad restaurants.
Rayner suggests a visit for “spankingly good fish and sweet waitresses, who know their spoken English to close to unintelligible and will do everything to make you fell at home”. And a reasonable priced bill to boot.
