Price comparison website moneysupermarket.com is calling on local, independent restaurant operators to submit meal promotions to a new localised restaurant voucher search facility.

Local restaurants across the UK can take advantage of the free service by submitting their deals and special offers on the website, which attracted 120 million visitors last year and is the first of any major voucher website to offer a localised search function.

Diners visiting moneysupermarket.com will be able to find restaurants offering special deals in their area by entering their postcode.

Mark Guymer, head of shopping and vouchers at moneysupermarket.com, which currently lists more than 10,000 vouchers and online discount codes, said the service was an excellent opportunity for small operators.

“The online voucher market has grown at a rate of over 40% year-on-year and shows no sign of slowing down,” he said.

“Moneysupermarket.com is offering local restaurants a great way to publicise their offers in the growing voucher market.”

Restaurants wishing to submit their promotional deals on moneysupermerket.com should contact Sian Harrison, commercial manager,  e-mail sian.harrison@moneysupermarket.com.
