Sodexo appoints new commercial director for UK and Ireland

Sodexo has completed its senior management restructure with the appointment of Michelle Hanson as commercial director for the UK and Ireland.

In her new role, Hanson, who was managing director of education at the facilities management and catering company, will oversee Sodexo’s procurement and marketing activities.

She takes over from Karl Martin who became managing director for the company’s defence business as part of a top-level reshuffle at the company revealed by Caterersearch last week.

The revisions saw Yann Coleou take over as Sodexo’s new UK and Ireland chief executive.

Jane Bristow, currently director of Sodexo’s independent school business will succeed Hanson.
